I am trying to troubleshoot random unexpected reboots of a Draytek 2960, every time it reboots I see the following message in the syslog: Restart policy route ping detection on pid xxxxx
I've been trying to troubleshoot this for a while now and the email tech support from Draytek UK is really slow, usually takes about a week to reply.
Initially I thought this may have been down to the Connection detection Mode setting in the WAN configuration which defaults to ARP, so seeing as this is a datacentre always-on connection I changed the mode from ARP to NONE which seemed to help for a few weeks, then it starts doing it again.
The router has been replaced twice, initially using the same saved configuration but the third time I rebuilt the configuration from scratch just in case there was any corruption in there, but it is still doing it.
