I am new to the forum so please be gentle with me as it's probably been 15 years since I actively communicated on a forum like this :)
I have been a loyal and dedicated Draytek user for the past 3 years and have successfully been using a Draytek 2860n as my home router without any major problems or security issues (as far as I know).
Having said this, I am now looking for some advice on the best way to configure my router to allow me to use an EE Signal Booster box (aka a Cisco BT Signal Assist box) while maintaining as secure a set up as possible.
For the past 3 years, I've always had the Default firewall rule (i.e. under FirewallGeneral SetupDefault RuleFilter) on my Draytek 2860n set to Block and then set an explicit firewall rule to allow all outgoing traffic (along with a bunch of individual rules to block/allow various...
